What is Kambo?
Kambo, also known as Sapo, refers to a method of using the secretion of the Giant Monkey Frog (Phyllomedusa Bicolor) as a powerful detox. In addition to detoxifying the body, it also boosts the immune system, increases stamina, and brings clarity to the mind and spirit. It is not psychoactive, however many people experience mental, emotional and spiritual shifts because it helps to remove negative energy blockages.
The origins of Kambo can be traced to the Upper Amazon Basin where it is referred to by the indigenous people as “the vaccine of the rainforest” since they use it for many of their illnesses. In our western society, medical researchers and scientists revere it for it’s multitude of healing applications and have based numerous medications on the polypeptides that it contains.
